What is the difference between Pura 3 and Pura 4?

Do Smart Vials work with Pura 3? 
Yes, you can use smart vials in all Pura home diffusers.
Please note, that the Pura 3 diffuser does not have a smart vial reader, so it will not have the auto detection or scent remaining feature that’s available in Pura 4 with smart vial.
Does Pura 4 work with 5Ghz WiFi networks? 
All of our home diffusers require a 2.4Ghz wireless WiFi connection. You can read more about WiFi specifics and requirements here.
Do my non-Smart Vials work with Pura 4? 
Yes. You will need to scan the fragrance into the app to use it with Pura 4. 
Does Puralast work with Pura 3? 
Yes. Puralast technology is part of a firmware update to your Pura 3 device. When used
in conjunction with smart vials, Puralast gives you up to 120 hours of scenting.
Does Puralast only work with smart vials?
Yes, only smart vials utilize Puralast technology. However, non-smart vials will still work with Pura 3 and Pura 4 diffusers.
Are all fragrances offered in a smart vial?
Pura is currently transitioning all of our fragrances to smart vials. New smart vial fragrances will be added as they become available.
How can I tell if my fragrance is a smart vial?
To identify a smart vial, check the bottom of the fragrance vial. A smart vial has a small NFC chip on the bottom that looks like a sticker with circuits.
What do I do if my Smart Vial wont scan? 
Check the back of the vial to see the SKU number. 
Three digit SKU: A three digit SKU means your vial is a non-Smart Vial. Scan the QR code on the back of your vial or enter the three digit code into your app to use your fragrance.
Four digit SKU: A four digit SKU is a Smart Vial. If your Smart Vial is not auto-detecting in the app, please scan the QR code or enter the 4 digit code. If you encounter any issues, please reach out to our Customer Care team.
