App Versions
Note: To use Alexa, update your Pura app to version 3.4.5 or newer.
Check your app version by opening your Pura app and clicking on the settings tab. Your version number will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.

Power Off

Change Device Light Brightness

1. Download the Alexa app on the App Store or Google Play and sign into or create an account. |

2. Once your Alexa app has been downloaded, open it up and go to the More tab, then click the Skills & Games option. |

3. Click the search bar located in the top right corner of your screen. |

4. Search for Pura |

5. Pura should appear as your first option. Click on it to continue. |

6. Click Enable To Use to begin setting up Alexa. |
7. Sign in and connect your Pura account using your Pura sign in information. |

8. Once your account has been linked, it should show as successfully linked as shown in the screen below. Click Close to continue. |

9. Discover Devices page will automatically come up after you've linked your account. Click the Discover Devices button to search for the devices in your Pura app. |

Check the devices page to see if Alexa added your device automatically CHECK CONNECTED DEVICES Connect smart home devices via Skills e.g. Philips Hue Bridge, LIFX, SmartThings, Wink To connect smart home devices to Alexa through a smart home hub (other than an Echo Plus or Echo Show (2nd Generation)), or WiFi, you will need to enable related Smart Home skills. ENABLE SMART HOME SKILLS Connect Hue bulbs to Alexa via 1st Generation Hue Bridge For Philips Hue bulbs connected to a 1st Generation (Circular) Hue Bridge If you are trying to connect Alexa with Philips Hue bulbs that are already paired to a 1st Generation Philips Hue Bridge (Circular), make sure that your Echo device and the Hue bridge are on the same network. Click on "Discover Devices" or say "Alexa, discover my devices" and press the button on the Hue bridge. CONNECT PRINTERS CONNECT PRINTERS Make sure your printer is connected to your network via Wi-Fi or ethernet. Printers connected to your PC with USB can't connect to Alexa. Connect your printer to Wi-Fl Make sure your printer is connected to your network via Wi-Fi or ethernet. Printers connected to your PC with USB can't connect to Alexa. Use a compatible Echo device 1st Generation Echo and Echo Tap devices don't work with Alexa print. Check here to see if your Echo device is compatible. Advanced settings Make sure Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) is enabled in your printer's advanced settings. Trying to connect a device to Alexa using your Amazon Tap? There are two ways to connect a device with an Amazon Tap: Go to the Devices tab in the Alexa app, tap the plus sign in the top right corner, select Add Device, select the device type you want to connect to Alexa, then select the brand of your device and follow the instructions. Tap the microphone button on your Amazon Tap and say "Discover Devices" Still having issues? |
No new devices found?1. Check the Devices page to see if Alexa added your device automatically. 2. Connect smart home devices via Skills. Note: You can also get in contact with Amazon customer service by clicking Email or Call Customer Service in your app as shown below. |
10. Once your diffuser has been found, you can continue by clicking Set Up Device. |

11. Label your diffuser's location by selecting an option from the dropdown below. |

12. Your diffuser has been successfully paired with Alexa. Select Done to complete your setup. |
