Amazon Alexa Feature
We strive to create value by integrating leading smart home systems that elevate the way Pura works for you. Our Alexa Skill allows you to control your Pura using only your voice, creating a simple, easily accessible smart home experience.
Note: To use Alexa, update your Pura app to version 3.4.5 or newer.
Check your app version by opening your Pura app and clicking on the settings tab. Your version number will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.
“Alexa, turn on living room Pura diffuser.”
“Alexa, turn on [room] Pura (diffuser).”
“Alexa, change slot to left/one on my [room] Pura diffuser.”
“Alexa, change to the right slot on my living room Pura.”
“Alexa, set the active slot on my [room] Pura to [right or left], [1 or 2], [first or second].”
“Alexa, turn off [room] Pura (diffuser).”
“Alexa, turn off living room Pura.”
“Alexa, turn on the light for my [room] Pura (diffuser).”
“Alexa, turn on the light for my bedroom Pura.”
“Alexa, turn the light brightness [down/up] for my [room] Pura (diffuser).”
“Alexa, turn the light brightness down for my bedroom Pura.”
“Alexa, turn the light brightness to [low/lowest/medium/high/highest] for my [room] Pura (diffuser).”
“Alexa, change the color of my [room] Pura to [color].”
“Alexa, change the color of my bedroom Pura to blue.”
“Alexa, turn off the light for my [room] Pura (diffuser).”

Download the Alexa app
Download the Alexa app on the App Store or Google Play and sign into or create an account.
You can visit Alexa Amazon Sign In Help Article for more information.
Note: You'll need to use your Amazon email to log into the Alexa app.You don't need to create an account if you already have an Amazon account.

Click the 'Skills & Games' option
Once your Alexa app has been downloaded, open it up and go to the More tab, then click the Skills & Games option.

Click the search bar
The search bar is located in the top right corner of your screen.

Search for Pura

Click on 'Pura' to continue
Pura should appear as your first option.

Click 'Enable To Use' to begin setting up Alexa.

Sign in and connect your Pura account
Use your Pura sign-in information.
If you're having trouble signing in, please check the following:
You're using your Pura account information.
Your username and password are case-sensitive.

Click 'Close' to continue.
Once your account has been linked, it should show as successfully linked as shown on the screen below.

Click the 'Discover Devices' button
Discover Devices page will automatically come up after you've linked your account. Click the Discover Devices button to search for the devices in your Pura app.
Check the Devices page to see if Alexa added your device automatically.
Connect smart home devices via Skills.
Note: You can also get in contact with Amazon customer service by clicking Email or Call Customer Service in your app as shown below.

Click 'Set Up Device'
Once your diffuser has been found, you can continue by clicking Set Up Device.

Label your diffuser's location
Label your diffuser's location by selecting an option from the dropdown below.

Select 'Done' to complete your setup
Your diffuser has been successfully paired with Alexa.
